This hand printed shirt features the Mano con Ojo (hand with eye) design which symbolizes protection in many cultures.  Sometimes referred to as a "hamsa," symbols like these are associated with thwarting the "evil eye."  This particular design is inspired by symbols and objects in everyday life, as well as items featured in the game of Loteria, a Mexican bingo game I used to play with my grandmother.
